Plan Your Bike Service

We've made it easier than ever to drop off your bike for maintenance or repair work. Simply book your drop-off time online and one of our professional mechanics will be ready for you when you arrive. Prefer to make a phone call? No problem. We book appointments over the phone at (204) 475-4908.

Booking service by appointment only allows us to anticipate your needs and parts requirements. By scheduling your appointment as early as possible, you ensure that we only have your equipment for the minimum time needed to get rolling!

Current Turnaround Time

Currently, we are at our quietest time of the year. There is currently no backlog for service. So, you may find your scheduled service appointment booked in for next day drop off.

24 HOUR TURN-AROUND

We ask that you drop your item off the day before your appointment. We will complete your work order the on the day your appointment is scheduled. Our service team starts their day well before we open the door. So having your item here the day before is crucial. Please note that any appointments that are NOT brought in the day before their appointment date will be cancelled.

WE ASSESS EVERY ITEM BEFORE WE BEGIN

Your equipment will be assessed at drop off to identify any additional work that may be needed as well as any additional parts to be ordered. If your equipment is in need of considerable service, or if parts need to be ordered, we may need you to bring it in for assessment before your appointment to avoid delays.

BOOKING ONLINE?

Appointments booked online can take 24-48 hours to get scheduled in our system. Please do not submit multiple requests. If you do not receive a response within 48 hours, feel free to contact us.

IS YOUR BIKE EXTRA DIRTY?

Unless noted in the Service package you choose, cleaning your bike is not included. If your bike is extremely dirty, please clean it before your appointment....or leave it to us and upgrade your service with a Bike Wash!

CURRENTLY BOOKING 1 WEEK OUT

We are currently booking most bike service (tuneups, etc.) within 1 week. If you bought your bike from us in the last 12 months and need a minor adjustment, give us a call. We try to do these same-day and if we can squeeze you in, we will.

FALL IS A GREAT TIME TO SERVICE YOUR BIKE.

Skip the rush next Spring. If you purchased your bike at Alter Ego Sports and want to take advantage of your discounted service, Fall is a great time to book. The blackout window is April-June, so book now and ride a well-tuned bike next Spring!

WINTER SERVICE IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE

Our winter service is currently closed. As the bikes season winds down we will begin to switch over our service shop - stay tuned...we will post here when we are open for winter service once again.

Electric Bike NOTICE

If you want to get your e-bike serviced, please note that we while we provide service on the e-bikes that we sell, we are most likely unable to work on e-bikes that use different systems than our bikes. In most cases, if you didn't buy the bike from us, we won't be able to service it. This includes flat tires and accessories installs.

Flat Tires & Tire Installs

We do not require an appointment for flat tire/tire replacement services. Turnaround times can vary depending on staffing levels, but a safe bet is 1-2 days. Contact us for the current turnaround. If you prefer to drop off your bike early and pick it up at the end of the day, an appointment would be the way to go.
